i bought a new knife and its still razor sharp but it wont be if i get an elk this year but how do you all sharpen your knives? i have a little hand sharpener that is 2 rods in a v that u drag the knife through but that ruined my last knife, i dont have the money go go buy those nice 80 dollar stones or the patients to use those stones so does anyone have a good, easy, and fast way to sharpen them?

if it helps the kife is a Kershaw and the guy i bought it from will sharpen them for free but he wont be in the field with me..
ive noticed that some companys like lansky have a system wehre you clamp your knife in then use a thing that makes sure you are sharpening at a certain angle what are these like?

I went into a bar a few minutes ago and these young scruffy looking biker gang members were showing off there backs to me by sitting on the bar table . The one guy had a very large knife in a holster on his waste with a large red bandanna wrapped around it .He had a large chain around his right shoulder which I presume is a weapon disguised as a fashion assessorie.
